With the 2.0.37 update, all members now have access to this functionality. Enabling players with limited network speed or higher resolution displays crisper graphics that match the native resolution of their monitor or laptop. While streaming, resolution upscaling works by applying sharpening techniques that reduce visible blurriness. There are currently three upscaling modes available. Standard is the default setting, and it has a minor impact on system performance. The update also improves the web-streaming experience on play.geforcenow.com by automatically selecting the best streaming resolution for devices that can’t decode at high bitrates. Finally, there’s a workaround for launching games directly from desktop shortcuts.
